Yes, 23 September is Celebrate Bisexuality Day. It's the day for bisexual, pansexual, those of fluid sexuality, and their friends, family, and supporters to celebrate bisexuality, bisexual history, bisexual community and culture, and bi/pansexual people themselves. While I'm not bisexual I have been very fortunate to be loved and befriended by bisexual people (For instance: Hi,
Ruth! Hi,
Arwyn!) both online and in my day-to-day life. Let the bisexual people you love know that you love them, accept them, and support them today.
Hey there's me, too! ;o) Happy Celebrate Bisexuality Day to you too. :D
ReplyDeleteAw, happy celebrate bisexuality day to you too my darling. <3
ReplyDeleteI didn't want to out anyone, though, Anji. I know both Ruth and Arwyn are out about being bi. Also, it'd be terrible if I misattributed anyone's sexual orientation.
ReplyDeleteHehe, it's all right. I generally ID as 'queer' because 'bisexual' doesn't quite cover it (it implies there are only two sexes to be attracted to, which we know is not true!). But yes, I'm bisexual and happily 'out' and very happy that there's a specific day. :o)
ReplyDeleteWoo hoo!! Happy Bisexuality Day to YOU and all your commentors! (It's nice to see familiar faces...three of my favorite bloggers: Anji, Ruth and Lucy!)
